CAD Technician – Silent Aire (Johnson Controls)Location:

As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into precise technical drawings and 3D models. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers, you will ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD. Update and modify existing drawings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Silent Aire standards and internal protocols.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and apply engineering principles to cost calculations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and records for all design work.

What We Look For:

• Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC and data centre systems is an advantage.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Level 7 qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent CAD certification.

Previous experience as a CAD Technician or similar role.
