What will you do

We are seeking a strategic coordinator and operational backbone for our multi-product portfolio. You’ll partner closely with Product leadership and our Product Managers to ensure release schedules, customer commitments, and strategic initiatives advance on time and with organizational transparency.

This position will maintain a high-level view across multiple programs, coordinate cross-team interdependencies, mitigate risks, and enable smooth product launches. Your work ensures that product strategy translates into aligned execution for Johnson Controls’ Open Blue portfolio, including Equipment Performance, Net Zero, Waterside & Airside Optimization, Shared Services, and emerging Agentic AI across portfolio.

How will you do it

Program & Portfolio Coordination

  • Oversee planning and execution of strategic product programs across the portfolio

  • Track and communicate cross-product dependencies, milestones, and impact areas to internal stakeholders

  • Facilitate planning and alignment sessions that integrate product, engineering, UX, and functional plans.

  • Coordinate, maintain, and evolve strategic portfolio epics and program roadmaps to align product roadmaps

Release & Milestone Management

  • Partner with Product Manager, UX, and Engineering leadership to build and maintain integrated release schedules

  • Monitor progress against key milestones and deadlines, raising flags early and driving resolution across teams.

  • Ensure visibility of dates, trades offs, and risks at leadership levels and across functions.

Strategic Alignment & Execution

  • Act as the central point of coordination between Product, Engineering, UX, Delivery, Customer Success, Marketing, Commercial, and Learning & Development

  • Support seamless execution of product launches with Product Owners and Managers including GTM readiness, training plans, and customer commitments

Risk & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify program-level risks and present mitigation options to product leadership

  • Provide transparent status reporting to leadership, prepare clear escalation paths where needed.

  • Build stakeholder confidence through consistent, data driven program reporting and product releases.

Continuous Improvement

  • Create and maintain artifacts that support program health (Share Point documentation, Jira trackers, dashboards, lessons learned,)

  • Drive improvement in cross-team ways of working,

What we look for

Required

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, or business.

  • 5+ years in program management, operations, or product delivery roles in Saa

S or Enterprise tech:

  • Experience coordinating across multiple product teams and strategic initiatives

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle, release management, and Agile delivery practices

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing short-term deliverables with long-term visions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to align audiences from technical engineers to executive leaders

  • Strong consensus building, conflict resolution, and persuasive skills

  • Track record of influencing without direct authority

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Smart Building, IoT, Energy, Sustainability, and enterprise SaaS products

  • Experience with data-driven decision making and KPI alignment across product portfolios

  • Experience in leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to enhance the value delivered by products to customers and transforming legacy portfolio.
