What you will do:

The Project QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables—equipment, materials, workmanship, documentation, and processes—meet established quality standards and comply with project specifications, industry regulations, and client expectations. This role drives continuous improvement, performs inspections and tests, manages non-conformances, and supports the project team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

How you will do it:

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and other QA documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct quality audits for internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Support risk assessments and ensure preventive actions are planned and executed.
  • Review design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure clarity and compliance.

Quality Control (QC)

  • Conduct site inspections, verification checks, and witness tests according to the ITP.
  • Ensure all materials and equipment comply with approved specifications before installation.
  • Review and approve Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), Site Inspection Reports (SIRs), and test certificates.
  • Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely quality records for audits and project closeout.

Project Support

  • Work closely with the project team to resolve quality issues and provide technical support.
  • Communicate quality expectations to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Attend project meetings and report on quality performance, risks, and status of inspections.
  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated into procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain the project’s Quality Documentation Register.
  • Ensure all QA/QC documents are complete for project handover, including:
  • As-built documents
  • Testing & commissioning records
  • Calibration certificates
  • Quality dossiers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports for management and clients.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • 3–7 years relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in construction, engineering, M&E, automation, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems are added advantages.
  • Familiarity with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, IEC, IEEE, API, local regulations).
  • Experience with testing & commissioning, inspections, and project documentation.
  • Certifications such as CQE, QA/QC Engineer, ISO Auditor are added advantages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in MS Office, project documentation software, and inspection tools.
