We are seeking a visionary Research Country Leader to spearhead our organization's research initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will deliver impactful insights that drive business growth and enhance client value while leading a high-performing team. As our Head of Research, you will collaborate across multiple business lines and serve as a thought leader, supporting innovation and strategic decision-making that positions our company at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Client Impact

• Anticipate client needs and develop differentiating research and actionable intelligence that drives impact and profitable growth
• Position research as a sales accelerator to help business lines meet development, financial, and strategic targets
• Create high-impact, strategic content for client engagement, pitches, and business pursuits
• Strategically prioritize efforts with the highest ROI for clients and the company
• Achieve research revenue targets while ensuring seamless collaboration with business units

Thought Leadership & Brand Elevation

• Represent the company as an industry authority through media appearances (TV, radio, print)
• Maintain significant market share of voice to strengthen brand positioning
• Generate globally aligned, locally relevant insights that contribute to broader thought leadership initiatives
• Deliver research across multiple formats and channels, collaborating with marketing to maximize brand impact
• Develop compelling content and deliver keynote presentations at industry conferences

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, inspire, and develop a world-class research team aligned with our global strategy
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with all stakeholders and business lines
• Serve as a key connector across business units
• Demonstrate adaptability in dynamic environments
• Champion technology adoption and AI integration in research outputs
• Model a "Future Ready" mindset that drives continuous innovation

Strategic Advisory

• Develop insights that identify opportunities and risks to shape business strategies
• Analyze emerging trends to anticipate market shifts and maintain competitive advantage
• Partner with business leaders to support strategic and financial planning
• Prioritize coverage of property and industry sectors most relevant to local markets while aligning with global priorities

Research Platform & Innovation

• Drive a modern, market-leading research program leveraging innovative technology and efficient processes
• Balance local research priorities while contributing to global research objectives
• Implement data management practices, analytics, and AI to drive efficiencies
• Effectively manage onshore and offshore research teams
• Establish partnerships with universities and industry organizations to develop talent and groundbreaking research

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Advanced degree in Economics, Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in senior research roles, preferably in real estate
• Proven success leading high-performing, diverse teams
• Comprehensive understanding of economic trends, real estate markets, and industry dynamics

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Media proficiency with experience in television, radio, and print interviews
• Ability to transform complex data into compelling, actionable insights
• Strong leadership capabilities and project management expertise
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and research methodologies
• Adaptability and comfort with fast-paced, evolving environments
• Enthusiasm for technology adoption, particularly AI integration
• Proven ability to drive business development initiatives
• Effectively manage onshore and offshore research teams
