Role Overview:

Delivers strategic advisory services focused on climate risk, decarbonization pathways, and ESG strategy development, combining analytical rigor with strategic thinking to translate complex climate science into actionable business strategies for JLL clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Climate Advisory:

Lead development of comprehensive climate risk assessments, science-based decarbonization pathways, and strategic roadmaps that prioritize interventions based on impact potential, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness while providing advisory on emerging climate regulations

• Data Strategy & Analytics Management:

Design and oversee data collection, manage analytical frameworks integrating building performance data and emissions inventories, and translate complex datasets into clear insights while quality assuring outputs for accuracy

• Client Engagement & Presentation:

Lead client workshops and strategic discussions, facilitate stakeholder engagement, prepare executive-level presentations, and build trusted advisor relationships with client sustainability, real estate, and finance teams

• Project Delivery & Coordination:

Manage multiple strategic consulting projects simultaneously, structure workplans, coordinate workstreams across internal teams, and ensure outputs meet quality standards and client expectations

• Thought Leadership & Market Intelligence:

Monitor evolving climate science and policy developments, contribute to thought leadership through white papers and case studies, participate in industry forums, and support business development activities

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Sustainability Consulting, Operations, Data & Reporting teams, and transaction management to deliver integrated solutions and leverage JLL's platform capabilities for comprehensive client value

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in sustainability consulting, ESG strategy, or corporate sustainability with proven track record leading strategic engagements

• Strong understanding of climate risk frameworks (TCFD), decarbonization methodologies, and GHG accounting principles

• Knowledge of European sustainability regulations including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and SFDR

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights

• Project management experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations

• Fluency in English required; additional languages (French, German) preferred

• Understanding of commercial real estate markets and property investment dynamics
