Location Requirement: Candidate must live in or be open to relocating to Salt Lake City, UT
Travel Requirement: This position will require travel up to 20% of the time
What this job involves: As a Senior VP, Projects at JLL, you will play a crucial role in shaping a brighter future for our clients, our company, and our employees. Your leadership will empower teams to thrive, driving innovation, collaboration, and success across distributed portfolios and complex construction environments.
What your day-to-day will look like:

Lead and oversee the execution of strategic projects across a geographically distributed portfolio, ensuring the highest levels of quality and client satisfaction. You will manage large-scale teams operating across multiple locations and properties, coordinating resources and maintaining consistent standards throughout diverse markets.

Foster a culture of collaboration, both within your distributed teams and across the global organization, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. You will navigate the complexities of managing personnel across different time zones, markets, and property types while maintaining cohesive team dynamics.

Drive innovative ways of working, constantly seeking new approaches and technologies to enhance project management processes and outcomes. Oversee ground-up construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring seamless integration of design, construction, and operational phases.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across your portfolio, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Your ability to manage multiple high-value client relationships simultaneously across various markets will be critical to success.

Champion the career development of your large, distributed team, providing mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities to support their professional advancement across different locations and specializations.

Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management)
-
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, directing and managing intricate projects within the commercial real estate industry
-
Demonstrated experience managing geographically distributed portfolios across multiple markets, property types, and client accounts
-
Proven track record of successfully leading and developing large teams (20+ professionals) across diverse locations and functional areas
-
Extensive ground-up construction experience, including oversight of multiple new construction projects from pre-development through turnover and occupancy
-
Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
-
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team across multiple locations
-
Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business goals into action plans and manage competing priorities across a broad portfolio
-
Outstanding client relationship management abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences across multiple accounts simultaneously
-
Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and trends, including construction codes, permitting processes, and building systems
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in a related field
-
Professional certifications (such as PMP, CCM, LEED, or DBIA)
-
Experience in a global or multi-office environment with responsibility for coordinating across international boundaries
-
Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in project management and construction delivery
-
Proven ability to drive business development and generate new opportunities across multiple markets
-
Experience with Design-Build, CM at Risk, or other alternative delivery methods
-
Track record of successfully scaling teams and operations across expanding portfolios
