What this job involves:

As a Business Analyst within the JLL Business Services Organization, you'll serve as a critical partner in driving strategic initiatives through rigorous analysis, compelling storytelling, and thoughtful project coordination. This role is designed for analytical thinkers who approach challenges with a consultant mindset—someone who can transform complex data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. You'll work across multiple workstreams, supporting leadership with executive-level presentations, coordinating cross-functional projects, and conducting research that shapes our path forward. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable insights that drive results

• Create professional, executive-level presentations using PowerPoint, translating complex data into clear visual narratives with compelling storylines that support recommendations and resonate with leadership audiences

• Support project planning and execution by developing project plans with timelines and milestones, tracking progress, identifying potential risks or delays, and maintaining organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle

• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization, leveraging JLL's culture of collaboration locally and across the globe to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate business problems from multiple angles, develop evidence-based recommendations, and challenge assumptions through critical thinking and rigorous investigation

• Prepare briefing materials, status updates, and ad-hoc deliverables with accuracy and efficiency, responding to stakeholder requests in a timely manner

• Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and strategic discussions, contributing insights and supporting decision-making processes with data-driven perspectives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field

• 1-2 years of professional experience in consulting, financial services, project planning, shared services, or similar analytical roles (internship or academic project experience demonstrating strong analytical capabilities is also valuable)

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques

• Strong PowerPoint skills with demonstrated ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations that communicate complex information clearly

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables

• Strong critical thinking abilities with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to approach problems from multiple perspectives

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences

• Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines consistently

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (such as Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or Agile frameworks)

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

• Previous experience in commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or related industries

• Exposure to business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives

• Demonstrated experience working effectively in cross-functional or matrixed team environments

• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and contribute to broader organizational strategy
