JFrog Security is looking for a talented R&D Team Leader to join our innovative development team. As a vital part of our mission to deliver leading security solutions, you will contribute to the development of security products that ensure the safety and integrity of our customers' software throughout the entire lifecycle, from code development to runtime operations. To join us, you should demonstrate hands-on leadership while providing guidance and support, as well as assisting developers at the code level.

As an R&D Team Leader at JFrog Security, you will...

  • Lead a team of 4-6 developers, working on large-scale, complex, and cutting-edge systems.

  • Manage the delivery of multiple, complex, simultaneous development projects from design to release.

  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely, while driving all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.

  • Make key decisions to ensure the right effort for the successful implementation of all initiatives.

To be an R&D Team Leader at JFrog Security, you need…

  • At least 3 years of experience as a leader and at least 8 years as an engineer.

  • Experience in managing highly-skilled developers, and the ability to lead, coach, guide, and influence them.

  • Proven experience in Python/Go/Java.

  • Experience in developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.

  • Experience in SaaS/Cloud/Microservices architecture.

  • Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of software development projects, meeting key milestones, and overcoming challenges.

  • Previous experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design of high-scale distributed systems.

  • Ability to manage, track, and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them.

  • Willingness to work with a driven team in a fast-paced, context-switching environment.
