Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Node.js and React Developer to support small customers through Expert Events, including new implementations, migrations from RD, and Unified platforms.
This role is primarily focused on backend development for an enterprise-grade SaaS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands-on, and passionate about building innovative, modern solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Experience
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience across the full SDLC, including:
  o System design and technical documentation
  o Development, unit testing, and code reviews
  o System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
  o Bug fixing, issue troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  o Deployment and production support
  o Ongoing enhancements and optimizations
• 5+ years of experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare domain (preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Core Technologies
• 3+ years of experience developing large-scale enterprise applications using Node.js and React
• Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Backend & API Development
• Develop and maintain server-side components using Node.js
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for front-end applications and third-party integrations
• Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases for optimized data storage and retrieval
• Performance, Security & Quality
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high API responsiveness
• Implement security and data protection best practices in alignment with industry standards
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality
• Collaboration & Delivery
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and key stakeholders
• Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends and suggesting architectural and process enhancements

• Preferred / Additional Skills
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Exposure to iOS development (Objective-C or Swift) is a plus
• Interest or experience with React Native or Flutter is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Sprint, and QA methodologies
• Experience in Life Sciences and/or Speaker Bureau environments
• Proficiency with tools and platforms such as CSM, Confluence, Smartsheet, Git, etc.
• Experience working with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and cloud architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with technical documentation and SOP creation
• Willingness to work EST / night shifts as required
