Senior Consultant, Statistics & Psychometrics Location: Uk, France, Netherlands, Spain, Greece & Portugal
Work Model: Hybrid or Office based
The Role: The Senior Psychometrician will be responsible for the on-time completion and the scientific soundness of projects or components of large, complex projects focusing on the psychometric evaluation of Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) instruments used in clinical trials.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, organizes, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
- Executes high quality research and analysis of psychometric projects.
- Designs, structures and delivers client reports and presentations.
- Develops client relationships through face-to-face discussions or workshops, telephone or email contact.
- Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and new leads.
- Supports the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements.
- Supports development of proposals focusing on psychometric approaches of COAs and/or digital health technology.
- Develops broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and training.
- Coaches project team members and supporting them to fulfill their personal objectives.
- Coaches junior staff (not just in projects).
- Leads some learning, development and recruiting activities.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, psychometrics, and/or quantitative psychology or related field with at least 10 years of related experience, or a PhD with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression.

Demonstrated experience using SAS and/or R and expertise in one latent variable software package (e.g., MPLUS).

Significant experience related to the psychometric evaluation of outcome measures, including classical psychometric methods (e.g., evaluations of test-retest reliability and internal consistency), exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and/or Item Response Theory.

Experience working with longitudinal datasets.

A track record in teamwork and in developing and leading people.

A willingness or ability to travel.
