Job Overview

• As an R Programmer Analyst, you will contribute to a variety of analytical and methodological activities, including:
• Extracting, cleaning, preparing, analyzing, and reporting real‑world data in alignment with statistical analysis plans and programming specifications using R.
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining data science methods, analytical algorithms, and reproducible workflows.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of centralized R package libraries and Shiny applications within established software engineering best practice.
• Enhancing operational efficiency by creating automated processes, tools, and internal documentation.
• Ensuring excellence and accuracy through the implementation of rigorous quality control procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or another quantitative scientific discipline, and pursuing or having completed an MSc in a related field.
• Strong programming skills in R (or proficiency in another programming language with willingness to develop in R).
• Excellent time management, with the ability to work across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Strong commitment to collaboration and ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a client‑focused, results‑driven environment.
• Strong scientific writing capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Other Qualifications:

• Prior experience with R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Background in statistical modelling or predictive analytics.
• Experience designing or executing prospective or retrospective database studies.
• Previous work in a consulting, healthcare analytics, or service‑oriented environment.
• Experience creating data visualizations to communicate analytical findings effectively.
