Role Overview
As Director, Global Business Development – Brand Outsourcing and HCP Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across international markets. This position is responsible for developing and executing global business development, expanding existing client relationships, and opening new markets for IQVIA’s commercial outsourcing, deployment, and engagement solutions.
The role operates across multiple geographies, working with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and regional leadership to sell scalable, innovative solutions to pharmaceutical, emerging biotech, and medical technology organisations.
Location: Global – flexible location (with significant international collaboration and travel)

Key Responsibilities
Global Business Development & Strategy
- Identify and prioritise global and regional market opportunities
- Develop and execute multi‑geography go to market strategies
- Translate global strategy into account‑level growth plans
Client & Market Engagement
- Build and expand senior‑level global client relationships
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor across the commercial lifecycle
- Lead executive‑level discussions and negotiations
Solution Design & Deal Leadership
- Lead complex, multi‑country proposal development
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams
- Own opportunities from qualification through contract handover
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Life Sciences commercial leadership or business development
- Proven success selling complex, global outsourcing solutions
- Strong executive communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate effectively across cultures and geographies
