Job Description Your Team
- The Americas and EMEA RFP & Global Databases team strives to position Invesco as the provider of choice for prospective and current clients. In the industry’s competitive landscape, we understand it is crucial to provide compelling information, content, and data to drive revenue and foster ongoing positive relationships.
- We do high-volume, deadline driven work. We are responsible for all phases of the proposal process in addition to loading and populating product information in consultant and third-party databases which are used to screen Invesco products.
- We engage with various subject matter experts, such as Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, and Operations, to source and update information, while tailoring responses to meet diverse client needs.
- We provide current and prospective clients with the firm, entity, strategy, product, and vehicle level information through a wide range of deliverable types (i.e., RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, PQQs, QCQs, Database Profiles, Digital Platform Requests, and Industry Surveys).
Your Role: Workflow and Reoccurring Process Support:
- Conduct thorough assessment of all assignments received to ensure appropriate allocation.
- Assign all deliverables based on team capacity and level of expertise.
- Manage team capacity, regularly updating your Delivery Manager.
- Partner with the Content teams (Core Strategy and Firm) to represent, support and develop reoccurring content requirements in content management system, Responsive.
- Create and update training materials for the team to reference when responding to client deliverables.
Employee Oversight and Governance:
- Manage a team of writers of varying levels of experience overseeing reoccurring client deliverables.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the work product and behavior of their team.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of all client deliverables received to ensure appropriate assignment and that will stretch them.
- Ensure all team members are following processes and procedures (i.e., saving resource files correctly to project folders, closing out projects, etc.).
- Review all team deliverables in their entirety for relevance, accuracy, and formatting prior to distribution to clients.
- Assist, mentor, and hold accountable team members in both their daily work and career development.
- Work with your Delivery Manager to ensure new reporting hires are onboarded and trained effectively and efficiently.
Strategic Leadership within a Cross-Functional, Global Team:
- Be actively engaged in process improvement projects, strategic discussions, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other managers on establishing, updating, and ensuring adherence to global processes and procedures, especially as they change over time.
- Be a cultural champion. Set a good example. Be positive.
Expertise and Client Understanding:
- Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of Invesco's structure, operations, and global suite of products.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' diverse needs and levels of sophistication to tailor responses effectively.
The Experience you bring:
- 5-10 years directly related work experience in investment management industry.
- Bachelor’s degree, Economics/Communications/English/Liberal Arts; some exposure to Economics or Finance courses preferred.
- Management experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills; an excellent communicator.
- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Critical thinker and a quick learner.
- Effective both independently and as a team member.
- Experience in RFP/RFI production preferred.
