Job Description

The Manager, Front Office Operations – Index Implementation is responsible for day-to-day portfolio implementation and monitoring for index strategies. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant execution of rebalances and cash activity, while maintaining tight control over index tracking, tolerances, and exceptions. This position will report to the Global Head of Front Office Operations – Solutions, SMAs & Index Implementation

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor portfolio rebalances, cash flows, and index/model updates across Index accounts.

• Perform daily oversight of positions, exposures, cash, and tracking error, escalating issues as needed.

• Monitor and resolve guideline breaches, exceptions, and data discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation.

• Coordinate with Trading on implementation timing, liquidity constraints, and execution sequencing.

• Support new account onboarding and mandate changes from an implementation perspective.

• Perform quality checks to ensure pricing, cash, and model inputs are applied consistently across account groups.

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives; help reduce manual touchpoints.

• Coach junior team members and support knowledge sharing and training.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in portfolio implementation and/or index operations.

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working in high‑volume environments.

• Understanding of rebalancing mechanics, index tracking, and guideline monitoring.

• Collaborative mindset with strong execution discipline

The salary range for this position in Downers Grove, IL is $150,000 - $175,000. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
