Primary Function of Position
The Intuitive Hub SP Product Management role for will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of the Intuitive Hub product on Intuitive’s 4th generation da Vinci Systems. This includes the full range of product management responsibilities such as user needs finding, product definition, roadmap development, global launch planning and sustaining product management. The role is unique in that it is responsible for Intuitive Hub on both da Vinci SP and 4th Generation Multi-port Da Vinci Platforms, including da Vinci X and Xi. Other key collaborators include Intuitive’s Professional Education and Digital organizations. Due to the broad scope of the role, cross-department collaboration, communication and multi-platform knowledge will be critical for success in addition to core product management capabilities.
Hub is not just a digital capability — it is foundational infrastructure for future digital expansion across Single Port and Multi Port platforms. We are looking for a product leader with the following traits:

Essential Job Duties
- Product strategy and vision:
Define and articulate a compelling product vision and roadmap for Hub and other digital offerings.
Establish a clear narrative that connects technical teams, commercial partners, and executives to a shared outcome.
- Product Definition & Execution:
Translate customer needs into clear, data-driven product requirements and measurable success criteria.
Balance customer desirability, technical feasibility, and business viability.
Ensure thoughtful integration with robotic platforms, hospital IT systems, and data security infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead through influence in a matrixed environment across.
Serve as the connective tissue across distributed stakeholders.
Maintain tight alignment on milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
Ensure global scalability and compliance across geographies.
- Commercialization & Enablement:
Transfer product knowledge to corporate and commercial teams to enable: Training materials, marketing messaging, sales enablement tools and clinical education assets.
- Product Quality & Lifecycle Stewardship:
Partner with engineering and quality to ensure product robustness, reliability, and cybersecurity integrity.
Maintain supply continuity and lifecycle support plans.
Support sustaining activities, field feedback loops, and iterative enhancements.
Monitor KPIs post-launch and drive continuous improvement.

Required Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 4 years in a medical device role
- Minimum 6 years cumulative professional experience in product management, marketing, engineering, business development, or equivalent role
Working Conditions
- 25% travel, including occasional international or weekend travel as required by the job
- Product management team members are expected to be in office Monday – Thursday

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target base compensation ranges are listed.
