As we have increased our product suite over the years – from just accounting to now include payroll, time tracking, invoicing, banking, lending and more – our need for a sophisticated, integrated pricing strategy that encompasses the entire ecosystem is essential. As the VP, Business Model and Monetization, you will be responsible for both developing a long term pricing strategy as well as determining specific price points across all of our products.

Develop pricing principles across all our products that account for our position in the market, competitive prices, and consumer demand

Ensure our pricing strategy accounts for the fact that we have an ecosystem of solutions, where many customers are using multiple products

Develop a discounting/promotional strategy and bundle pricing strategy, in addition to standard pricing

Set price points for all of our products – which include a mix of subscription pricing, transactional pricing, and user based pricing.

Set pricing for new products

Innovate new pricing models for our products

Work closely with both PMM organization and product organization to get input as part of developing the pricing strategy.

Develop pricing that advantages customers who use multiple Quickbooks products

Ensure our pricing to partners (Accountants, VARs, etc) balances being competitive, provides the right incentives, minimizes channel conflict/arbitrage, and preserves margin.

Ensure pricing is effective for our full range of customers from recently started businesses run by a single person, to established businesses with dozens of employees.

Leverage research and analytics to explore new pricing constructs and levels, as well as predict/forecast the impact of pricing changes

Qualifications:

15+ years work experience
-
10+ years pricing experience in complex product environments

5+ years experience pricing for small businesses
-
3+ years pricing experience for financial services/money movement products

Ability to influence across a large organization

The expected base pay range for this position in Mountain View, California is: $349,000-$472,500.
