Join Intel's Edge Computing Group India Business Unit as a Market Intelligence Analyst to lead the effort of analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological shifts on Intel® Edge Computing Platforms. Intel ECG's Edge portfolio offers a comprehensive range of embedded products covering Industrial, Robotics, Retail, Cities and Critical Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare and other industry verticals.
This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, large-scale programs that directly influence ECG's and Intel's strategic objectives. Primary Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Forecasting:
Monitor global semiconductor market movements, technology shifts, and emerging opportunities, creating market sizing and segmentation reports. Primary geo focus will be India market for Edge and PC / Laptops markets in India
- Competitive Intelligence:
Evaluate competitor strategies, financial performance, product portfolios, and technology roadmaps to provide actionable insights.
- Strategic Planning:
Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership for product development, sales strategies, and business planning.
- Data Management & Dashboards:
Maintain internal/external data sources, utilizing BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to align market insights with business goals. Communicate program status, plans and decisions to all levels of the organization.

- Candidate should be able to craft market briefs, strategic techno-commercial playbooks for different Edge verticals, create c-suite presentations by triangulating multiple data streams ( primary and secondary research)
- Analytics & Reporting for Design Ops :
Build dashboards to track KPIs like Design Win, program OKRs, forecast accuracy through automated tools

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing programs in engineering domains with a Bachelor's degree
- 4–10 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategy, preferably within the semiconductor or tech industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership
- Expertise in project and program management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in SQL, Python, Power BI or advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in market sizing, and competitive analysis
- High proficiency in secondary research with proven expertise in gathering quantitative market data from reputable sources
- Strong analytical and storytelling ability; curiosity-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
Desired Experience Level:
- 5+ years of experience in market intelligence and strategic consulting.
- Experience in the semiconductor or Electronics Manufacturing industry is a plus
