  • Support IP (Intelectual Property) blocks design activities, including developing and maintaining flows, tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive results.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to build a strong foundation for your future career.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Clear communication skills - asks good questions and breaks a problem down before jumping to a solution.

This internship position is a full‑time role for a fixed duration of six months. While the role requires full‑time commitment, the team offers reasonable schedule flexibility to support individual needs, in coordination with the people manager. The program is intended to provide a focused, immersive industry experience aligned with Intel’s professional work environment and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Enrolled or recently acquired Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineer, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows like Github Actions.
  • Basic Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQLite) and basic SQL.
  • Experience using at least one AI coding tool such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, and the ability to critically evaluate its output.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Experience with Django REST Framework - building serializers, view sets, and token-authenticated APIs.
  • Ability to build and style web pages using HTML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js for building interactive server-rendered UIs without heavy frontend frameworks.

  • AI Agents, Skills, and Tools.
  • Strong candidates will know how to write effective prompts that produce production-ready code from AI models.
  • They will be comfortable using agentic coding tools like GitHub Copilot Agent Mode, Claude Code, or Cursor to scaffold features end-to-end, wire up REST APIs and external data services into a Django project, and - most importantly - review, test, and take full ownership of AI-generated code before it ships.
