Job & Division Summary:

Engineering support to ETO (Engineer to Order) project for Ingersoll Rand compressor Products and Engineering activities as directed by team lead/Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D design, 2D drawings and technical documentation to Ingersoll Rand adherence to industry standards for new and modification designs, including compressor & its subsystems.
  • Liaise directly with engineering team in global location and conduct System Level Design delivery tasks as warranted by the Project objectives.
  • Understand project requirement from global team and execute with highest level of quality standard.
  • Develop (presentation/status) material in support of Design Reviews and Gate approval Events.

Mandatory Skills

  • Competent with Industry recognized parametric CAD system (NX)
  • Strong proficiency on AutoCAD 2D mechanical.
  • Competent with industry recognized PLM system (SAP, Team center)
  • General arrangement drawing and P&I diagram
  • Electrical schematic and wiring diagram preparation
  • Experience in bill of material preparation
  • Competent with drawing standards.
  • Geometric Dimension & Tolerances.
  • Casting & Machining drawings preparations
  • Sheet metal/Fabrication drawings preparations
  • Experience in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly methods.
  • Develop presentation/ documentation material in support of ETO or i2V Design reviews etc.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in compressor design would be an advantage
  • Experience in Engineer to order (ETO) is a plus.
  • Strong creative problem-solving mindset. Experience in agile environments would be an advantage
  • Experience working within a design or technical team environment
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in technical documentation (Equipment, Instrumentation and Control datasheet preparation) is a plus.
  • Manual preparation – Installation, Operation, maintenance and safety is a plus.
  • Mechanical design calculations to verify existing designs or select new ones

Basic Qualifications & Personal Skills

  • Minimum 3~5 years of experience after graduation in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, responsible, excellent communication skills, leadership aptitude.
  • Clear grasp of verbal and written English.
  • Excellent teamwork and soft skills
  • Conversant with Microsoft tools – Word; Excel; Power Point & Outlook.
