Job Overview:

The Sales Manager – Promotes the sale of ILC Dover Peristaltic Pumps for bioprocessing and Safety Products through consultative and cooperative efforts with Distribution Partners and RSMs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a network of distribution partners to sell Peristaltic Pumps and Asbestos Abatement Glove Bags

  • Work with and develop a distribution network in the US and EMEA

  • Responsible for generating list(s) of target customers by specific Applications deemed to be well positioned for ILC Dover products

  • Outbound, proactive engagements with distributors / target customers, to secure in-person, technical meetings

  • Works with Internal (Regional Sales Managers) and External (Distributors) Sales teams, to assess the potential of our pump portfolio and safety products

  • Act as a technical liaison to RSMs and Distributors to provide technical support, clarification, and assist with the presentation of proposals to prospective customers

  • Develop business plans and sales targets for specific product segments

  • Responsible for forecasting bookings and monthly revenue

  • Attend conferences and trade shows to promote and grow the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of applications/technical sales experience required

Strong understanding in bioprocessing workflows

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of strategic account and vertical segment business drivers and purchasing behaviors.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interface at all levels in an international environment.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentations skills. Must have strong ability to explain technical information.

  • Achievement-oriented and willing to put a high level of effort to produce results in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Must be comfortable working in an environment that is dynamic and evolving.

  • Demonstrated qualities of creative approach to problem solving and risk taking.

  • Perfectly proficient in computer related skills; Microsoft Office applications.

  • Responsible for accurate, ethical and timely handling of expenses.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • This position will be based in the US with expected 50% travel
