
Talend Administrator
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Talend Administrator to manage, support, and optimize Talend Data Integration and ETL environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance, and security, while enabling efficient data integration processes across the organization.
Talend Administration
Install, configure, and maintain Talend Data Integration / Talend Data Fabric platform
Administer Talend services including TAC (Talend Administration Center), Job Server, and ESB
Manage user roles, permissions, and security configurations
Perform deployments, scheduling, and monitoring of Talend jobs
Handle repository management, version control, and artifact promotion across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
Platform Management & Monitoring:
Monitor Talend job performance and troubleshoot failures or bottlenecks
Configure logging, alerts, and alerts monitoring for proactive issue resolution
Ensure high availability and system uptime
Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning
Deployment & Release Management:
Manage CI/CD processes for Talend jobs and artifacts
Support automated deployment pipelines
Coordinate releases with development and data engineering teams
Database & Integration Support:
Work with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Support integration with APIs, cloud platforms, and third-party systems
Optimize jobs for performance and scalability
Security & Governance:
Implement data governance, access control, and compliance policies
Ensure secure handling of sensitive data
Manage backups, disaster recovery (DR), and restore procedures
Support & Collaboration:
Provide L2/L3 support for Talend-related issues
Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and business teams
Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting
7–8 years of IT experience with Talend Administration
Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration / Talend Data Fabric
Good knowledge of ETL concepts and data integration workflows
Experience with job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Strong SQL and database management skills
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
