Snowflake Developer

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with up to 5 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions using the Snowflake cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing, SQL, and cloud-based data engineering, and will work closely with business and analytics teams to deliver high‑performance data solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain data models, views, and schemas in Snowflake
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions (UDFs)
Implement and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion from multiple sources
Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering, caching, partitioning, and query tuning
Implement data security, access control, and governance using Snowflake best practices
Work with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) for data integration and orchestration
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Support CI/CD implementation for data pipelines and deployments

Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehousing:

Proficiency in SQL (advanced joins, analytical functions)
Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
Familiarity with Python or scripting is a plus
Understanding of data pipelines and workflow orchestration

2–5 years of overall experience in data engineering / data warehousing
Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt, Airflow)
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling)
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of data integration techniques and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet)
Experience with version control tools such as Git
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
