AI-Driven - Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for hands-on Full Stack Engineers with a strong ownership mindset who thrive in fast-moving, high-impact environments. You will drive features end-to-end — across Angular/React frontends and Java/Node.js backends — while leveraging AI-driven development tooling to accelerate delivery and raise engineering quality. You will also build and integrate multi-agent AI workflows as part of Citizens' emerging AI/automation practice

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams.

• Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code — ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards.

• Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations — agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins — to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.

• Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other.

• Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma.

• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).

• Maintain observability standards — structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/App Dynamics), and performance profiling.

• Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions.

• Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices.

• AI ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS

• High proficiency using AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with a strong understanding of AI-driven and AI-managed coding workflows.

• Solid grounding in prompt engineering — structuring, iterating, and validating prompts for consistent, production-quality code generation.

• Hands-on experience designing and constructing AI coding agent customisations: agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins.
