About the role

Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown, Should Costing, VAVE, benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency.

Perform Product Teardown & Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments & Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc.

  • Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost

  • Support new product development with early cost estimation

  • Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation

  • Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies

B.E./B.

Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering:

  • 3–8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains

  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes

  • Experience in costing of mechanical parts & assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...

  • Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations

  • Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, a Priori, SEER etc...

Education: Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor of Mechanical Engg,Bachelor Of Technology
