About the role
Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown, Should Costing, VAVE, benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency.
Perform Product Teardown & Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments & Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc.

Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities

Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost

Support new product development with early cost estimation

Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation

Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies
B.E./B.
Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering:
-
3–8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains

Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
-
Experience in costing of mechanical parts & assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...

Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations

Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, a Priori, SEER etc...
Education: Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor of Mechanical Engg,Bachelor Of Technology
