Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Operations Specialist to join our BAO Technical Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with expertise in Azure DevOps, SQL, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting operational & user issues.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT technical operations or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in scripting, cloud services, and development methodologies.

Skills Profile:

• Proficiency in SQL querying language for database management and reporting.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and its microservices.

• Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as Data Dog, Splunk, App Insights & Log Analytics

• Handson experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment. Understanding of pipeline creation and management is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross functional teams.

• Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps) are a plus.

• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and task orchestration.

• SQL & PowerShell scripting is ideal, experience with Datadog or Splunk is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions in alignment with business objectives.

• Troubleshoot issues with Kubernetes via kubectl and/or management tools such as Rafay or Docker.

• Develop and maintain SQL scripts for database management, data manipulation, and reporting purposes.

• Utilize Data Dog for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance and resource utilization.

• Advise on monitoring, and work with the team to enhance existing monitoring to improve our ability to respond to issues.

• Analyze logs and metrics using Datadog, Splunk, or native tools to identify and address potential issues proactively.

• Implement best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery using Azure DevOps.
