Consultant- SAP Basis:

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 8+ years of experience with Information Technology
• SAP OSDB Migration Certification is preferred, and Certification on Hyper scalers is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in SAP Basis
• Strong hands-on experience in S/4 HANA and HANA as a database for SAP applications
• Working experience of SAP applications on Hyper scalers like SAP ECS, AWS, Azure, GCP - reference architectures, native cloud services, compute and storage options for SAP applications, monitoring performance on the cloud
• RISE with SAP
• Strong experience in SAP migrations
• OSDB migrations, HANA migrations using SAP SWPM or Database utilities. Ability to optimize migration configurations to minimize technical downtime
• Knowledge of technical integration scenarios between cloud and on premise and between cloud and SaaS applications
• Experience in Designing & Implementing landscape architecture and sizing for S/4 HANA projects. Experience with creation and evolution of the SAP technology roadmap that defines current technical architectures, future architectures, and the evolution for transition for all projects
• Ability to perform design and implementation of High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy
• Hands on experience in SAP BASIS tasks such as system refreshes, Support package and version upgrades, Client Strategy and Capacity Planning including EWA analysis
• Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
• In-depth knowledge of technology stack for SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Web SAP Console, Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, SLD, Process Integration (XI), SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP SUS, SRM MDM, Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, Folders Content Server, CUA, SAP JVM and Solution Manager etc.,
• Responsible for providing advanced SAP Basis technical expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of SAP solutions
• Strong understanding of all phases of systems implementation and the software development life cycle
• Ability to clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions
• Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production).
• Analyzing the impact of the proposed technical solutions. Assist in creating and modifying strategies, resolve problems and document issues and resolutions
• Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
• Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required in an ad hoc basis (depends on the current situation) as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $89004 to $103042
