Your Role

• Lead end-to-end implementations: Blueprint, Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap, configuration, testing, cutover, hypercare.
• Architect solutions across IS-Retail (MM/SD/PMR), CAR (POS DTA, DDF, OAA), and S/4HANA Fashion (AFS replacement, segmentation, seasonality).
• Map retail processes: assortment planning, buying, allocation, pricing/promotions, markdowns, store ops, e-com/omni-channel.
• Integrate CAR with POS systems, e Commerce, SAP Retail Pricing, MDG, BW/Analytics, SAP UI5/Fiori, and third-party systems.
• Own data migration strategies (materials, variants, business partners, pricing, inventory) and data quality controls.
• Enable OAA (Available-to-Promise across channels) and real-time inventory visibility.
• Implement Transaction Retail and CAR POS DTA for near real-time sales capture.
• Configure PMR (Promotion Management for Retail) / Retail Pricing in S/4.
• Align pricing & promotions with CAR/OAA impacts.
• Define SIT/UAT scope, test scripts, and defect triage.
• Lead cutover planning, dress rehearsals, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Work with business (merchandising, supply chain, store ops, e-com) and IT teams.
• Provide thought leadership, demos, and Fiori enablement.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery accelerators.
• Participate in RFP/RFI processes: solution design, effort estimation, proposal creation, and bid defense.

Required

• Experience in SAP Retail landscape with multiple full-cycle implementations.
• Deep hands-on expertise in IS-Retail, SAP CAR, and S/4HANA Fashion.
• Strong integration experience: POS, MDG, BW/4HANA, Fiori, IDocs/ODATA, middleware (PI/PO/CPI), e-com platforms.
• Proven functional configuration across Retail MM/SD; familiarity with PMR (or S/4 Retail Pricing).
• Expertise in Fit-to-Standard, process mapping (BPMN), and cutover.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
• Experience in RFP/RFI response and pre-sales solutioning.

Preferred

• Experience with Store Inventory Management (SIM), Forecasting & Replenishment, Allocation Management, Promotion Planning.
• Knowledge of GK POS, RFID, store mobility, and edge POS integrations.
• Background in groceries, fashion, specialty retail, or luxury.
