
Informatica Power Exchange Admin
About the role
We are looking for a skilled Informatica Power Exchange (PWX) Admin with strong experience in administering and supporting Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Power Center, Mainframe environments, SQL, Unix, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform stability, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and environment support across mission-critical data integration systems.

Administer and support Informatica Power Exchange platform components, including listener, logger, capture, and extraction processes.

Monitor and remediate issues related to Power Exchange jobs, connectivity, storage, and system availability.

Support system, database, and platform upgrades in coordination with infrastructure, application, and business teams.

Create, maintain, and update configuration files, capture registrations, extraction maps, and related environment settings.

Plan and execute disaster recovery, backup validation, and environment failover activities with application teams.

Investigate and resolve platform vulnerabilities identified through audits, compliance reviews, or periodic security scans.

Support version control integration, code migration processes, and onboarding of application teams to the Power Exchange environment.

Optimize platform performance, manage latency issues in real-time data flows and batch jobs, and ensure overall operational stability.

• Strong experience with Informatica Power Exchange administration, Informatica Power Center, Mainframe, SQL, Unix, and ETL concepts.

Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing capture registrations, extraction maps, listener processes, and logger processes.

Ability to troubleshoot environmental, connectivity, and performance issues quickly in production and non-production environments.

Experience supporting platform upgrades, disaster recovery exercises, vulnerability remediation, and operational support activities.

Knowledge of real-time data loads, exception handling, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Strong leadership, team management, stakeholder communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission-critical environments with strong ownership and support mindset.
