Sustainability Consulting

We are looking for experienced professionals to join our Sustainability Practice Unit at Infosys. The role focuses on delivering high-impact sustainability outcomes by leveraging data analytics, reporting, compliance frameworks, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of sustainability concepts, ESG frameworks, and the ability to design and deliver scalable sustainability solutions across industries.

• Engage with clients to scope sustainability solutions, identify relevant offerings, and develop proposals aligned with business objectives.
• Develop delivery plans, define team structures, and manage end-to-end program execution for client engagements.
• Identify sustainability value propositions tailored to industry-specific requirements and customer needs.
• Conduct industry research to analyze problem statements, evaluate solution options, and recommend optimal approaches.
• Create detailed requirements, user scenarios, and process artifacts to support implementation in collaboration with technical teams.
• Articulate business value using sustainability KPIs and conduct solution demos, POCs, and workshops.
• Prepare effort estimates aligned with client budgets and organizational financial guidelines.
• Lead and mentor consulting teams with subject matter expertise in sustainability, ESG reporting, and data management.
• Strong understanding of sustainability concepts such as ESG reporting, sustainability data analysis, and sustainable supply chains.
• Awareness of ESG frameworks and regulations including CSRD, BRSR, GRI, and TCFD.
• Understanding of industry trends, platforms, and tools in the sustainability domain.
• Ability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and recommend technology-driven solutions.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
• Comfort with data handling, visualization platforms, and adoption of AI technologies for delivery.
• Good understanding of concepts such as product carbon footprint, circular economy, life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable manufacturing, and sustainable finance.
• Awareness of sustainability implications across upstream and downstream value chains, including sustainable supply chain practices.
• Part of a rapidly growing unit focusing on data analytics, decarbonization, compliance, and advanced technology-driven sustainability solutions.
