Associate Consultant - Solution Design

Job Description:

As a consultant – Solution Design, you will support the development of competitive and innovative sourcing and procurement solutions in response to client RFPs, RFIs, and proactive pursuits. You will work under the guidance of senior solution architects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to solution design, costing, and proposal development.
The role involves strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and hands-on contribution to proposal artefacts, benchmarking, and value articulation.

• Key Responsibilities
• Support the design and development of Sourcing & Procurement BPO and consulting solutions aligned to client requirements and Infosys service offerings
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, transition, digital, and practice teams to gather inputs and develop integrated solution components
• Contribute to creation of proposal documents, solution decks, effort estimation models, and commercials using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Assist in applying Infosys best-practice frameworks and tailor them to meet client-specific needs
• Support effort estimation and pricing inputs using internal benchmarks, productivity metrics, and historical data
• Conduct secondary research on market trends, sourcing best practices, and procurement technologies to support differentiated solution development
• Work closely with digital transformation teams to help integrate AI/ML, RPA, GenAI, and procurement technology solutions into proposals
• Assist in developing and articulating business value frameworks, including savings levers, efficiency improvements, and compliance benefits
• Perform spend data analysis and support estimation of sourcing, transactional, and compliance savings using benchmarks and heuristics
• Support creation and maintenance of case studies, reusable solution artefacts, templates, and knowledge assets for the S&P repository
• Assist senior team members in benchmarking exercises (internal and external – CAPS, Hackett, APQC, etc.) including data analysis and insight generation
• Work with delivery teams to support SOW inputs and solution clarifications during deal closure
• Participate in short-term consulting or on-site assignments as required

Education: Graduate
