Middleware (WAS, Tomcat, JBoss)

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to manage and support enterprise middleware platforms including IBM Web Sphere (WAS), Apache Tomcat, and JBoss. The role focuses on ensuring application availability, performance optimization, deployment support, and troubleshooting across middleware environments.

• Provide L2 support for middleware platforms including Web Sphere (WAS), Tomcat, and JBoss
• Install, configure, and administer middleware environments across Dev, QA, and Production
• Manage and support application deployments (WAR/EAR files) across application servers
• Monitor system health, server performance, and availability to meet SLA requirements
• Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment, server crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks
• Perform log analysis, JVM tuning (heap, threads, GC), and debugging
• Support clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and environment maintenance activities
• Work closely with application, database, OS, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
• Support release management activities and ensure smooth production deployments
