Application Support (Unix/Linux, Python)

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with strong exposure to Unix/Linux environments and Python to support business-critical applications. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, monitoring system performance, supporting batch processes, and ensuring application stability and availability.

• Provide L2 production support for enterprise applications in Unix/Linux environments
• Monitor application health, logs, and system performance to ensure uptime and SLA adherence
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, batch job, and system-related issues
• Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis for recurring incidents
• Support Python-based applications/scripts, including debugging and minor enhancements
• Monitor and manage batch jobs, scheduling, and job failures (Auto Sys/cron or similar)
• Coordinate with L1/L3 teams, developers, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management in line with ITIL processes
• Support deployments, releases, and environment validation activities
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
