Short Description:

We are seeking a talented Flutter Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Flutter and Dart, along with experience in integrating APIs, working with state management, and delivering seamless user experiences.

Salary range:

AUD 90,243 - 988,61 (Annual Gross)

Location: Melbourne Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Design and develop reusable objects based on company security standards and best practices
• Build detail level designs for new functionality as well as migration of legacy technology to go forward technology
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming knowledge, familiarity with design patterns
• Ability to write clear, modular and optimised code
• Good understanding of creating UI components using layouts and using code
• Hands on experience in push notifications, local databases
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Experience working on exception and crash logging using different analytics tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong troubleshooting skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver new features
• Experience Agile methodology, any tools used for Agile (Jira/Azure DevOps, etc), CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Code versioning, Code reviews, app release process (app signing, generating apk, releasing to store)
• Strong communication and logical reasoning skills
• Experience in leading a team of Mobile based application developers through the full life cycle of complex projects
• Collaborate and communicate with product owner and developers in agile processes to provide technical feasibility, specifications, and estimates.
• Generate technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business users.

Skill / Competencies / Experience: ESSENTIAL

• 3+ years of application development experience in iOS using Objective C, Swift, Swift UI, Xamarin
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

PREFERRED

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.
