• Tertiary qualifications are essential with minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years’ experience in resiliency testing, infrastructure support, application support, IT operations, technical project management or vendor management roles desirable, with equivalent in another technical discipline to be considered.
• Experience in Infrastructure, Middleware or cloud computing in one or more of the following disciplines desirable: AWS/Azure Cloud, Ali Cloud, Server (Container/VM/physical), CI/CD, Storage, Networks, Database, Middleware, DR, BCP, and Chaos Testing.
• Experience in technical discipline and one or more Programming/scripting languages/testing tools (C, Java, Groovy, Ansible, Power shell, shell scripting, SQL, JIRA, ALM, Jenkins, etc) is an advantage.
• Analysis of systems to identify defects or potential risks that may cause systems to cause resilience and operational issues and not meet non-functional requirements for compliance.
• Excellent in written and spoken English is essential with preferrable good in Mandarin and Cantonese, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a range of audiences.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas.
• Participate and coordinate the test execution including Resilience Testing, Backup and Restore Testing, Disaster Recovery test.
• Develop and execute the Operational Acceptance & Infrastructure Test Plan defined with the application and infrastructure teams.
• Provide weekly summary reporting of progress metrics to the Test Team Leader/Manager, highlighting achievements, issues and targets
• Manage support vendors and service providers to deliver timely testing services and executions.
• Identify and manage infrastructure/system level defects and project-level risks associated with/during testing and escalate as required.
