Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise application, database, and platform environments. The role requires strong expertise across middleware, databases, operating systems, container platforms, and automation tools to ensure high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support middleware platforms including IBM Web Sphere, IIS, Tomcat, Spring Boot, and IBM MQ.
Perform Linux, Windows, and AIX 7.2 (LPAR) system administration, including performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.
Manage container platforms using Red Hat Open Shift, including operations, monitoring, and data protection with IBM Fusion.
Provide database administration support across DB2 LUW, Netezza, SAP HANA, Cassandra, Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS databases (Aurora, RDS).
Handle enterprise storage technologies including SAN/NAS and ensure optimal capacity and performance.
Support endpoint and system management using SCCM.
Implement and maintain CI/CD and automation using GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible.
Work with ETL processes, strong Unix commands, and follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Ensure system reliability, backups, disaster recovery, security compliance, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise middleware, databases, and OS administration
Experience in hybrid/on‑prem and cloud database environments
Proven expertise in containerization, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL certification
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
