SSIS Developer

We are seeking a skilled SSIS Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, data migration, SQL Server databases, and data warehousing concepts. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data analysts, and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain ETL packages using SSIS.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Monitor and maintain data integration workflows and schedules.
Collaborate with business users and data teams to understand data requirements.
Implement error handling, logging, and auditing mechanisms within SSIS packages.
Support data warehouse development and reporting initiatives.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and workflows.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and data integration best practices.
Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and automation.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling.
Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or TFS.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in SSIS development and SQL Server environments.
Relevant Microsoft certifications are an added advantage
