Infosys is seeking a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Enterprise Architect

As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP consultant, you will be a expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel and/or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 11 years of experience in SAP technology consulting, architecture, or solutioning roles.
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP ECC landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of S/4HANA adoption approach of Brownfield, Bluefield and Greenfield.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, and SAP's AI offerings.
  • specialization in either of the below 4 categories:
  • Conversion + Upgrade Architect
  • New ABAP Clean Core development in S/4HANA
  • BTP Clean Core (App Dev with Extension & Integration)
  • Key Technical Tiger Responsibilities1. Solutioning Support in Pursuits - 30%
    Act as a technology lead during pre-sales and pursuit phases, collaborating with sales, delivery, and domain experts to craft winning solutions.
  • Lead the technical solution design for large-scale SAP and digital transformation pursuits.
  • Collaborate with bid management and sales teams to align technical solutions with client business objectives.
  • Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical narratives for proposals and RFP responses.
  • Present and defend technical solutions to internal review boards and client stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks in proposed solutions.
  • Provide effort estimation, resource planning, and delivery model recommendations.
  • Stay current on SAP roadmap, BTP innovations, and AI capabilities to incorporate into solutioning.

2. Phase 0 Assessments / Due Diligence - 45%
Lead early-stage engagements to assess client landscapes, define transformation roadmaps, and evaluate readiness for digital initiatives.

  • Conduct Phase 0 assessments including system discovery, landscape analysis, and business process mapping.
  • Perform technical due diligence for SAP S/4HANA conversions, cloud migrations, and platform upgrades.
  • Define transformation roadmaps, including sequencing, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate custom code, interfaces, and data volumes to assess conversion complexity.
  • Recommend target architecture and deployment models (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
  • Collaborate with functional and business teams to align technical recommendations with business goals.
  • Deliver assessment reports, executive summaries, and technical feasibility studies.

3. Customer Advisory - 25%
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex technology decisions and innovation journeys.

  • Advise clients on SAP S/4HANA adoption strategies, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition. OR Provide guidance on SAP upgrades, patching strategies, and lifecycle management. OR Lead discussions on SAP BTP adoption, including integration, extension, and data-to-value use cases.
  • Recommend AI/ML use cases relevant to client industries and help define implementation roadmaps.
  • Support clients in cloud strategy formulation, including hyperscaler selection and architecture design.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, health checks, and optimization assessments.
  • Deliver thought leadership sessions, workshops, and innovation days for clients and internal teams.
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, or relevant modules.
  • Experience with ECC Conversion, S/4HANA Upgrade, RISE with SAP,SAP Integration Suite, and SAP AI Core. specialization in either of the below 4 categories:
  • Conversion + Upgrade Architect

  • Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, Washignton, DC : $116700 to $150000
