Infosys Limited is seeking an API Developer with AI /ML. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will provide inputs for identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of applications, provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding and issue resolution with the objective of ensuring best-fit and high-quality technical solutions within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI solution architectures using enterprise approved LLMs and cloud platforms.
• Support use cases such as document processing, summarization, Q&A, copilots, and workflow augmentation.
• Define reference architectures for GenAI components (LLMs, vector stores, APIs, orchestration layers).
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate GenAI services into existing applications and data platforms.
• Assist with prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimization for reliability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance during Po Cs and early production deployments.
• Document architecture decisions, patterns, and implementation guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of any of mentioned locations i.e., Hartford, CT or Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in USA.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in software, data, or cloud architecture roles.
• Hands on experience with Generative AI based solutions.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, cloud services, and modern application architectures.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain AI concepts to non technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiarity with tools such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
