Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM/WM Consultant

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Engineering's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
• This position is based in Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara).
• The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode, candidate may need to travel to office (if required)
• Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily (if required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in SAP MM/WM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation.
• Domain in Purchasing, inventory, warehouse management processes, integration points with another SAP submodules, among others
• Expertise in Integration processes with logistic third-party vendors (3PL)
• Some knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) will be a plus
• Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution
• Expertise in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management, CMMi (desired)
• Engaged in client meetings to gather requirements for Purchasing, Procurement and Plant operations.
• Prepared design documents for Purchasing and plants operations involving configuration, enhancements (e.g., User interfaces, solution approach for material identification) and reports.
• Configuration of Master Data which includes Material, Vendor, Purchase Info Records and customizing the same
• Configuring Inventory documents like goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer and transfer postings.
• Designed and Implemented SAP Functions: Vendor Evaluation, Release Strategies, Procurement of External services.
• Quota arrangement, Reservations, Contracts, Schedule agreements, RFQ, Service masters, Legacy Procurement Portal integration and BOMs.
• Should have configured MRP controllers, MRP groups, parallel processing, and Scheduling parameters in Material Requirements Planning.
• Should have configured graphic profiles for Capacity Planning/Leveling in Repetitive manufacturing.
• AUTO GR process based on the confirmation, received via EDI transmission from sub-contracting vendor or distributors.
• EDI experience (Like EDI mapping &Partner profile maintenance & enhancement logic , interface with 3PL system)
• Worked on Sales and Distribution OTC (Order to Cash), Revenue Recognition, Delivery Based Billing for goods and services, Customer Billing Forms, picking customer based Conditions in order, Included BRF+ Business rule framework for user specific scenarios, AR operations with GL Accounts.
• Should have good work experience in IM & WM (must have done end to end implementation & roll out )
• IMWM interface with PP , QM experience is required
• Should have good expertise in RF
• HU/Pick HU & SU work experience must be required
• Reviewed and executed Data Migration task using LSMW / BDC tools.
• Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements
• Testing and rollout of the final product
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams
• Good Analytical and Communication skills
• Good Planning and Co-ordination skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
