Informatica Admin_UNIX

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Administrator with strong UNIX/Linux expertise to manage, support, and optimize Informatica environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of ETL systems while supporting day-to-day operations, deployments, and troubleshooting.

Informatica Administration

Install, configure, and administer Informatica Power Center / BDM environments.
Manage Informatica domains, repositories, integration services, and nodes.
Handle code deployment, migration, and release management across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
Monitor workflows, sessions, and logs to ensure successful execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, performance bottlenecks, and failures.
Perform patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery of Informatica systems.
Implement and manage user roles, security, and access control policies.
Work with development teams for performance tuning and optimization.

UNIX / Linux Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain UNIX/Linux servers supporting Informatica platforms.
Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
Monitor system performance, CPU, memory, and disk usage.
Manage file systems, permissions, and batch processing jobs.
Schedule and monitor jobs using cron or enterprise schedulers.
Analyze logs and troubleshoot system-level issues impacting Informatica workflows.

Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
Collaborate with ETL developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams.
Document system configurations, processes, and SOPs.
Ensure adherence to data security and governance standards.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

trong experience in Informatica Administration (Power Center/BDM)
Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
Hands-on expertise in Shell scripting
Experience with job scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M, cron)
Understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
