Infosys is seeking an AI/ML & Generative AI Engineer with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI architectures. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients to understand complex business challenges, architect scalable AI solutions, and deploy them using modern cloud platforms such as Azure ML and GCP AI Services.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, agentic orchestration, and vector databases, while shaping impactful consulting solutions across industries like Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC/ Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g., Big Query, Hadoop). Expertise in ML model development, data engineering, and software engineering principles.
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI/ML deployment (e.g., Sage Maker, Snowflake). Hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases and RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation tools in AI/ML contexts.
• Domain expertise in Banking, Finance, or Capital Markets is a plus.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
