Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Data Migration S/4 HANA and ETL Consultant

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience with expertise in SAP Data Migration using tools like SAP BODS, SAP LTMC etc

• Should have Implementation & Support experience of projects.

• Should be hands on in SAP S/4 HANA Data Migration and previously lead large scale Data Migration programs

• Hands on experience in Extraction, Transformation, Interface and Data loads from SAP/non-SAP sources to SAP S/4 ERP

• Define and execute SAP S/4HANA data migration strategy aligned with SAP Activate phases (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).

• Lead data workstream planning, including migration waves, mock runs, and final cutover.

• Manage WRICEF governance for data-related objects and ensure proper documentation.

• Coordinate with functional teams for master and transactional data requirements.

• Oversee ETL processes using SAP tools (LTMC, LSMW) and third-party solutions (SAP BODS), Syniti etc

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR) and data privacy standards.

• Develop migration templates, validation scripts, and reconciliation reports.

• Manage data quality initiatives, profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities.

• Collaborate with integration teams for data interfaces (IDoc, OData, APIs).

• Lead cutover planning and post-go-live data stabilization activities.

• Full life cycle implementation cycle with Blueprinting, fit gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers and go live experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA data migration methodology and tools (LTMC, LSMW, BODS).

• Deep understanding of SAP Activate methodology and migration phases.

• Strong knowledge of SAP master data objects and S/4HANA data model simplifications.

• Experience in WRICEF governance and documentation standards.

• Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools for data transformation.

• Understanding of integration technologies (IDoc, OData, APIs).

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) for S/4HANA.

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform and SAP BTP for data services.

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps practices in SAP projects.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
