About the role
Dealer Financial Services processes indirect automobile loans that are assigned to Truist Bank by authorized dealerships. The dealer prepares and sends a complete loan package to Truist Bank for review and funding. All documents are reviewed for regulatory requirements, completeness, accuracy, and within credit parameters
This role supports indirect auto retail lending by conducting structured process reviews for all functions across Dealer Financial Services to confirm operational alignment with approved procedures and accurate system updates that includes funding responsibilities includes all loan documents reviewed for regulatory requirements, completeness, accuracy, and within credit parameters. This position requires strong domain expertise in US auto lending and the ability to operate effectively in a client-facing, delivery-oriented environment.
Review of loan package for funding requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all required documents
Requesting an additional / missing document from the dealer
Review the fees to comply with Reg Z.
Calculation of proof of income.
Review of Loan to value, APR, address mismatches.
Organizing and verifying the different aspects of the loan funding process
Restructuring the deal terms and re-decisioning from original underwriter approval
Competencies & Skills:
Solid understanding of US Auto Lending, various lending documents for regulatory requirements, completeness, accuracy and credit parameters.
Experience working in client-facing or delivery-oriented environments with high accountability
Highlight process gaps, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities to internal managers and client counterparts
Strong written communication and documentation capabilities
High level of professionalism, integrity, and data confidentiality awareness
Systems & Controls
Ensure adherence to client compliance standards, internal quality controls, and turnaround timelines
Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy in line with US regulatory expectations
6+ years of experience in Indirect Auto Retail Lending
Working knowledge of lending industry regulations
Prior experience supporting US clients, onsite delivery, or regulatory driven environments is strongly preferred
Entry level candidates with strong communication skills and relevant domain exposure may be considered for junior alignment roles
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
Postgraduate qualification preferred for entry level candidates supporting US delivery but not mandatory
