Core DBA Consultant (Golden Gate + Performance Tuning)

We are seeking an experienced Golden Gate, Core DBA consultant.

• 1. Golden Gate (Key Requirement)
• Install, configure, and administer Oracle Golden Gate Classic & Microservices (OGG MA).
• Build and maintain:
• Uni-directional, bi-directional, active-active, and hub-and-spoke topologies.
• Handle:
• Cross-platform replication
  • Conflict detection & resolution
  • DDL replication strategies
  • Integrated Extract/Replicat
• Troubleshoot lag, checkpoints, trail file issues, and network performance.
• 1. Core DBA
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c/21c database environments.
• Perform backup/recovery using RMAN; validate restore scenarios regularly.
• Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, ACFS, and cluster components.
• Manage tablespaces, schema, user security, and resource allocation.
• Implement Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform Capacity planning, database health checks, and proactive risk mitigation.
• Support migration and platform upgrades (AIX/Linux/OCI).
• 1. Performance Tuning (Expert)

Perform SQL Tuning using:

• AWR/ASH/ADDM
  • SQL Monitor & Real-Time SQL Tuning
  • TKPROF, SQL Trace
  • Execution plan analysis & plan stability techniques
• Optimize:
• SQL Queries
  • PL/SQL Logic
  • Index & partitioning strategies
  • RAC-aware workload distribution
• Address contention:
• Latches, locks, buffer busy waits, gc waits in RAC
• Implement SQL Baselines, SQL Profiles, SPO to prevent plan regression.
• Deep understanding of optimizer behavior, statistics, histograms, and cardinality estimates.
• 1. Oracle Exadata
• Manage and optimize workloads on Exadata DMA Activities
• Patching, Upgrades & Lifecycle Management
• Core DBA + RAC/ASM Administration
• Performance Tuning (Exadata-Specific)
• Exadata System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
• One or two industry domain knowledge
• Client Interfacing skills
• Project and Team management
