Werum PAS X Application Support Administrator

The Werum PAS‑X Application Support Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the PAS‑X Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
This role ensures:
High system availability and optimal performance
Compliance with GxP regulations and data integrity standards
Stable operation of MES infrastructure
Efficient support for manufacturing and business operations
The role combines application support, system administration, and compliance governance to deliver a reliable and audit-ready MES platform.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. PAS‑X Application Administration
   Manage PAS‑X environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)
   Perform user administration (roles, access control)
   Handle system configuration and parameter setup
   Maintain PAS‑X application services, modules, and components
   Manage Electronic Batch Record (EBR) configurations

System Monitoring & Health Management:

Monitor application servers, database performance, and background jobs
Identify performance bottlenecks and issues
Conduct proactive health checks and preventive maintenance

Incident & Problem Management:

Provide L2/L3 support for:
Application errors
Login and access issues
Workflow failures
Batch execution issues
Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Ensure SLA adherence and timely issue resolution

Environment & Release Management:

Support deployment of code and configurations across environments
Manage transport handling and version control
Handle migration activities (DEV → QA → PROD)
Collaborate with development and validation teams

System Validation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with:
GxP / GMP guidelines
FDA 21 CFR Part 11
ALCOA+ data integrity standards
Support validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Maintain audit-ready documentation

Core Skills:

Hands-on experience with Werum PAS‑X (v2.x / v3.x)
Strong understanding of:
MES architecture
EBR/MBR lifecycle
Pharma manufacturing workflows

System & Technology Stack:

Operating Systems: Windows Server (preferred), basic Linux knowledge

Databases: Oracle / SQL Server
Scripting: Basic PowerShell / Batch scripting

Integration & Middleware:

Web services and APIs:

OPC (basic working knowledge)
