Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP SD Consultant

This position is a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects.

Basic Qualification Lead SAP SD Consultant:

• Bachelor's / Engineering's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
• This position is based in Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara as base location)
• The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode, candidate may need to travel to office (if required)
• Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily (if required)

Preferred Qualification Lead SAP SD Consultant:

• At least 7 years of experience in SAP SD module including at least 2 full life cycle project implementation.
• Strong in-depth experience in sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, SD account assignment and revenue recognition processes and system integration areas.
• Expertise in Mexican localization topics like**:** Electronic invoice (CFDi), Payment complement (complemento de Pago), integration with authorized vendors by the government for invoice electronic stamping (PACs), incoterms, invoice tax and withholdings taxes, among others
• Expertise in localizations for other LATAM Countries will be a plus: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador among others.
• Cross functional module knowledge.
• Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP EDI/IDOC, SAP SD & SAP LE, SAP MM/WM
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of SD
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
• EDI skills:
• Monitor EDI cockpit, clearing any errors on inbound and outbound transactions
• Prioritize the urgency of EDI errors for troubleshooting
• Resolve EDI issues by finding the root cause and provide a viable solution to correct
• Coordinate with partners for shipping status for smooth processing of ASN transactions to customers
• Support internal users with requests to re-drop orders, EDI related questions & troubleshooting
• Support external business partners with EDI related questions and trouble shooting
• Provide new user training and/or enhancement training on EDI cockpit functionality and best practices
• Answer customers EDI related inquiries, such as missing, rejected, invalid data
• Run missing ASN report and overdue acknowledgment for entire business daily
• Work with EDI 2nd level support to ensure high-level transaction issues are addressed, and mapping changes or additions are communicated timely
• Identify and communicate continuous improvements for overall department, with regard to EDI
• Expertise in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management, CMMi (desired)
• Ability to read ABAP code and debugging skills is preferred.

• Able to work and connect with the team virtually who are located in other geographies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
