About the role
Experienced Senior BI Administrator with strong expertise in Qlik Sense (On-Prem & SaaS) and Qlik View administration, responsible for enterprise-wide BI platform management, governance, and production support.
The role requires managing hybrid BI environments, supporting modernization initiatives, and ensuring high availability and performance of Qlik platforms. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Metric Insights, and Sigma Computing is expected as secondary skills.
The role focuses on platform stability, governance, performance optimization, and enabling scalable analytics solutions across multiple BI tools.
- Administer Qlik Sense Enterprise environments including multi-node architecture.,
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise BI platforms (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma)
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of BI environments
- Manage QMC (Qlik Management Console) for:
- Apps, streams, tasks, and reload schedules
- User access rules and security policies
- Configure and maintain:
- Load balancing, node management, and clustering
- Data connections and shared persistence
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, environment hardening, vulnerability management and configuration changes
- Configure:
- Data connections and Qlik Data Gateway (Direct Access / Data Movement)
- Monitor:
- Tenant usage, reload tasks, and app performance
- Implement self-service governance frameworks
- Support migration from Qlik Sense On-Prem to Qlik Cloud
- Support Dev/Test/Prod BI environments and release management
- Monitor platform health, reload schedules, capacities, and usage
- Troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues
- Implement role based access control and data level security
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data policies
- Manage licenses, users, groups, and content lifecycle
- Provide L2/L3 production support for BI platforms
- Manage and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now). Provide root cause analysis for the incidents.
- Maintain SLA compliance and incident documentation.
- Act as escalation point for critical BI incidents
- Maintain SLAs, SOPs, and operational documentation
- Mentor junior BI administrators and engineers
- Lead BI platform modernization or consolidation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for BI assets.

- Leadership experience managing teams or complex projects.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence architecture decisions and drive platform strategy.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission critical environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
