Senior Network Engineer (Prisma SDWAN) at Infosys

Ownership:

• Design + implementation + Assurance L3

• Large scale rollouts & migrations (MPLS → SD WAN)

• Complex design and troubleshooting and RCA

• Technical decision making, external Stakeholder and vendor interaction

• Prisma SD WAN (Core Focus)

• Hands on expertise in Palo Alto Prisma SD WAN architecture, including:

• ION devices (branch, DC, cloud)

  • Controllers, management portals, and analytics

• Design and implement application aware path selection, SLA based policies, and intelligent link steering

• Configure and optimize traffic failover, load balancing, and link remediation

• Perform pilot implementations and large scale SD WAN rollouts

• Lead migration from legacy WAN / MPLS to SD WAN, ensuring minimal business impact

• Troubleshoot complex SD WAN performance and stability issues

• Cisco Meraki SD WAN (Core Focus)

• Hands on experience with Cisco Meraki MX appliances and cloud managed architecture

• Design and configure, Support branch heavy and retail/banking/Telecom WAN environments

• Troubleshoot Meraki MX WAN, VPN, NAT, and firewall behaviors

• Integrate Meraki SD WAN with enterprise LAN and wireless infrastructure

• Security & SASE Integration

• Integrate Prisma SD WAN with Palo Alto NGFW for unified security enforcement

• Experience with Fortinet / Forti Gate firewalls in hybrid environments

• Exposure to SASE architectures, including:

• Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA) and/or Netskope

• Solid understanding of Zero Trust access models

• Knowledge of cloud delivered security enforcement and secure internet breakout designs

• Cloud Networking

• Design and implement WAN connectivity for:

• AWS, Azure, GCP

• Experience with cloud hosted IONs, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity

• Support hybrid and multi cloud WAN architectures

• Understand cloud routing, security, and availability considerations

• Enterprise Networking

• Strong fundamentals and hands on experience with:

• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)

  • Enterprise WAN and branch networking

• Experience with Cisco LAN / Switching / Wireless for branch and campus environments

• Understanding of QoS design for voice, video, and critical applications

• Preferred / Good to Have

• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE / Prisma SD WAN)

• Cisco certifications (CCNP / Meraki specific exposure)

• Experience in SASE/SSE transformation programs
