Informatica BDM Admin_Hadoop Admin

• Manage Hadoop clusters in all environments and make sure all the services are up and green. Ensure High availability for Cloudera services like YARN, HUE, Hive HBase. Resource management across the cluster.

• Manage BDM Informatica console and services, ensuring system uptime and efficiency. Automate the tasks wherever possible. Help the users with their Hadoop related queries/ ad hoc queries. Vulnerabilities management for identification and remediation.

• Informatica BDM/ Hadoop administration

• Administration support for PROD and Non-prod Hadoop cluster.

• Managing and reviewing Hadoop job failures.

• Perform Hadoop cluster and Informatica health checks.

• Creating and configuring connections for Hive integration.

• Perform QA and production code migrations using Informatica Developer Tool

• Troubleshooting service issues, monitoring ETL jobs, and ensuring high system availability

• Perform House Keeping activities for Cloudera and Informatica.

• Storage management.

• Work with Linux team for Patching related updates.

• Work with Linux team for Mounts / space related issues

• User access management

• Troubleshooting logs (service logs, job logs, DB2 space & connectivity)

• Troubleshooting job failures and handling ad-hoc requests.

• Monitoring and optimizing BDM Performance.

• Log analysis and troubleshooting for YARN, HDFS, HIVE, SPARK

• Managing HA configurations, performing backups, node decommissioning, and cluster health checks.

Strong expertise in Informatica BDM / DEI / Power Center Administration
Extensive experience with Hadoop Administration (Cloudera/Hortonworks distributions)
Deep understanding of HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Tez, and Map Reduce
Strong hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration
Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or automation tools
Experience with job schedulers (Oozie, Autosys, Control-M)
Knowledge of cluster monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting

• Understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and big data architectures
• 9+ years of total industry experience.
• Complete knowledge and hands on Big Data Hadoop and Informatica BDM.
• Strong understanding of server related activities.
• Familiar with Cyber Security topics and Identity and Access Management and vulnerabilities.
• Should have Strong understanding and trouble shooting skills on big data Hadoop & Informatica BDM platfrom
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
