Your responsibilities

Secure compliance with the Group Procurement purchase process end-to-end.

Build and manage long-term partnerships with key suppliers based on a shared business model.

Drive supplier performance by professionally challenging suppliers to continuously improve quality, cost, sustainability, and innovation.

Establish trusted relationships in line with IKEA’s way of doing business, ensuring compliance with IWAY and the Code of Conduct.

Collaborate with relevant business partners to identify business needs, opportunities, and value-adding solutions for customers.

Provide proactive market insights on sourcing options, supplier landscape, cost drivers, and market trends to support category and sourcing strategies.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of procurement methods for renewable energy and sustainability projects.

Structure and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to reduce cost, minimize risk, and leverage strategic opportunities.

Partner with external stakeholders to develop and execute the renewable energy strategy for IKEA India, supporting the 100% renewable energy ambition.

Engage with utility regulators and contribute to policy and guideline development aligned with broader business objectives.

Collaborate across IKEA teams to support strategic renewable energy investments and sourcing initiatives.

Apply knowledge of the local waste management market, regulations, and practices in India to drive effective sourcing decisions.

Identify and execute strategic sourcing opportunities for energy and waste management, establishing long-term partnerships with key suppliers.

Drive supplier relationship and performance management to enhance overall quality, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

Act in accordance with IKEA values, practicing fact-based business leadership, adaptability, self-awareness, and fostering a positive, inclusive work climate.
